GFMM desk: Ukrainian grain exports from the seaport dropped sharply to 774,000 tons on March 21-27, up from 1.264 million tons a week ago, APK-Information Consultants revealed on Monday (March 30, 2020).
Wheat exports have dropped from 319,000 tons to 303,000 tons, and shipment of maize has dropped from 871,000 tons a week ago to 412,000 tons, according to the consultation.
Most of Ukraine’s grain exports last week were headed to Iran, Egypt and Turkey.
In the 2019-20 season grain exports have jumped to about 32.7 million tons to about 44.2 million tons so far which ended in July during the same period in 2018/19, the consultant said.
