Corn exports to Mexico were the 3rd highest on record in 2019/2020 at nearly 570 million bushels despite a 10% decline year-over-year. Mexico purchased almost one-third (32%) of U.S. corn exported in 2019/2020.
This year’s sales continue strong export growth made possible by the market access provided by the USMCA and its predecessor, the NAFTA, and the resulting well-developed North American supply chains and robust market development work by the Council and its members. –By U.S. Grains Council
