Location : North Italy Purpose: To be responsible for the pricing and overall promotion of these Food Ingredients categories to maximize consumer appeal. Relationships with vendors and product range management will also be part of the duties. The goal is to increase sales and profitability of business to drive sustainable growth. Education & Relevant Experience: B.Sc., MBA, 10 year experience in similar industry The ideal candidate has experience with mit Fruit - and Vegetable powders Location: Northern Italy or UK language: English, asset would be another European language like Italian, German Knowledge: Proven experience as category manager or similar role in Flavours/ Food / Extracts/ Fruit and Vegetable Powders * Solid knowledge of category management, marketing and sales principles * Understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods * Full comprehension of marketing and sales principles. Responsibilities: To analyses data or insights to determine industry and consumer trends in these ingredients *To provide clients with customer focused insights regarding the product and category * To develop exit strategies for unsuccessful products * To foster trust relationships with vendors to achieve better pricing and quality of services *To support appropriate orders to ensure product availability that meets consumer demands * To determine the positioning of a product category to maximize visibility * To liaise with marketing teams to determine competitive pricing and promotional activities of a  product category * To collaborate with the sales team to expand product categories *To make forecasts for product demand to ensure the sustainability of inventory * To assume responsibility of budget development and revenue for category. * To oversee a team of analysts and other support staff.
