End of the year 2021 China added
Malaysia to the list of countries to export compound feed into China market.
There were two other Asian countries, South Korea and Thailand already
registered some manufacturing facilities to export compound feed ( compound
feed for aquatic animals) to China, the addition of Malaysia makes 3 countries
in Asia so far approved to export compound feed by the General Administration
of Customs for the People’s Republic of China. In total there are 9 countries
around the globe China has already approved and registered some of its
manufacturing facilities on the GACC list( White list) for export. These
countries include Ireland, Bulgaria, Thailand, Chile, South Korea, The Czech
Republic, The Netherlands, and Malaysia.
Compound feed in China is for animal
feed with the purpose to be used as an antibiotic Growth Promoter for gut
health, as well as improve broiler performance. Also, different compound feeds
are used as concentrate supplements, as well as compound feed for piglets and
other functions.
Registration of compound feed to
China requires a procedure to be followed according to China’s regulations. An
applicant company needs to request the approval of its manufacturing facility
to be listed on the GACC list authorized by the General Administration for the
People’s Republic of China( GACC) and apply for a product license(MARA) issued
by the Ministry of Agricultural and Rural Affairs for the People’s Republic of
China (MARA) which takes around 4 to 6 month to get the product license after
all requirements are sent to Ministry
