The Commerce Ministry said in a statement on Saturday (April 11, 2020). According to the notice, there were allegations that some irregularities have occurred at some places in connection with the sale of TCB's fair value product. All these incidents have come to the notice of Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi. Meanwhile, legal action has been taken against the accused at the behest of the Commerce Minister. All concerned have been warned about this and measures have been strengthened. All the departments of the country, district and upazila administration, national consumer rights protection department, RAB and police administration have been requested to forward any allegations of irregularities to the TCB headquarters. It was recalled that an order was issued from the TCB on April 7. If any irregularities are spread through the propagation of the country, it is said that action will also be taken against the respective dealer and person according to the law. The TCB is selling fair value products through nearly 3,000 dealers nationwide, the notice added. Since last March, licenses have been revoked on charges of irregularities. Two cases have been filed against the accused. Four more were charged with irregularities. Action is also being taken against them.
