Applications Open for GEAPS Exchange Speakers

Conference Set for February 22-25, 2025

MINNEAPOLIS, August 21, 2024 –Grain Elevator and Processing Society (GEAPS) welcomes applications from interested speakers for the biggest and best show in the grain industry, GEAPS Exchange! GEAPS’ Exchange Education Planning Committee (EPC) welcomes speaker submissions for in a variety of subject areas including safety, maintenance, processing, management training, and automation. GEAPS is searching for speakers for the Idea Exchange, Innovation Stations, and full educational sessions. Dynamic speakers interested in sharing new ideas, products, or services with the grain industry are encouraged to apply by September 1. Speakers will start getting notified in late September.

Apply to speak at geaps.com/exchange/call-for-speakers Last year, the GEAPS Exchange drew 3,716 attendees from 45 United States, 23 nations, and nearly 1,000 companies. Education sessions were packed with record-setting participation for the four education tracks designed to meet the needs of grain professionals. Attendees were able to focus on one track or sample a bit of each. In his day job, Scott Biel is director of safety at MKC. He also serves as chairman of GEAPS' EPC and understands the benefits of speaking at Exchange.

"Speaking at GEAPS Exchange gives industry experts the opportunity to share their knowledge and experience as well as build collaborative relationships with members of the grain handling community," Biel said.

Kevin Walker from Dodge Industrial presented at the GEAPS Exchange earlier this year.

"Speaking at GEAPS Exchange helped us provide more detail to interested customers about the necessity of having specific solutions we can provide, such as how they are applied and how to manage them,” Walker said. “This drives traffic to our sales team and to our booth on the Expo floor."

Speaking at GEAPS Exchange also comes with free, full-access registration to GEAPS Exchange, additional opportunities via the “Find a Speaker” resource for GEAPS chapters, a video recording of an education session to share with peers, and an education session added to the GEAPS Video Library. GEAPS will also promote each session on its social media channels. Exchange 2025 is scheduled for February 22-25 back at the Kansas City Convention Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Booth sales for the event open in October, with registration opening in November.
