As one of the world’s leading companies in wheat and maize milling technologies, Alapala has successfully completed more than 1,000 turnkey milling plants in over 120 countries worldwide. With over 100 maize processing plants delivered across different continents, the company has established itself as one of the key global players in maize milling technologies.
The Burkina Faso project included process engineering, equipment manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and technical support, providing the customer with a complete turnkey solution. Designed to achieve high efficiency, low energy consumption, superior hygiene standards, and reliable long-term operation, the plant will contribute to the production of high quality maize flour while supporting the country’s growing food processing industry.
The industrial building of the facility was delivered by Accon, Alapala Holding’s construction company specializing in industrial food processing facilities. This integrated structure enables Alapala to manage every stage of the investment from engineering and equipment manufacturing to civil construction and commissioning through a single, fully coordinated project organization.
Maize continues to play a strategic role in food security throughout Africa. By delivering efficient, sustainable, and high-performance milling solutions, Alapala supports local industrial development while helping customers increase productivity, improve product quality, and strengthen regional food supply chains.
Commenting on the project, Görkem Alapala, CEO of Alapala Holding, said: “Every new maize milling project we complete represents far more than the delivery of advanced technology. It contributes to food security, industrial development, employment, and sustainable economic growth. Burkina Faso is another important milestone reflecting Alapala’s long term commitment to Africa. Our integrated capabilities in engineering, manufacturing, construction, and project execution enable us to deliver reliable turnkey solutions that create lasting value for our customers and the communities they serve.”
Today, with operations in more than 120 countries and over 1,000 successfully completed turnkey projects, Alapala continues to shape the future of grain processing through innovation, engineering excellence, and long-term customer partnerships, reinforcing its position as one of the world’s leading providers of grain milling technologies.
