This activity has started from last Sunday (July 12, 2020). TCB is now selling three products. Sugar, lentils and soybean oil. The price of one kg of medium grain lentil pulses has been fixed at Tk. 50, which is sold at Tk. 80 per kg in the market. TCB is selling arrow brand sugar at Tk. 50 per kg, which is Tk. 69 per kg in the market. Besides, open sugar is being sold in the market at Tk. 60 to 65 per kg. According to the website, TCB products will be available at 264 locations across the country. Of these, there are about 40 trucks in Dhaka metropolis. Besides, there are 10 trucks in Chittagong, 7 in Rangpur, 7 in Mymensingh, 5 each in Rajshahi, Khulna, Barisal and Sylhet. Apart from this, TCB products are also available in the district cities. These products will be sold five days a week except Friday and Saturday. Each distributor will receive 600 to 750 kg of sugar, 150 to 200 kg of lentils and 1000 to 1,200 liters of soybean oil daily. A buyer can buy a maximum of 2 kg of sugar, 5 liters of soybean oil and 1 kg of lentils.
