Because everyone deserves to go home from work each day, we have come together as an industry to take a stand for safety. The national Stand Up 4 Safety Week, sponsored by the Alliance, a collaboration of agriculture industry groups, provides a collective industry focus on and commitment to safety.
What is a safety Stand Up?
A Stand Up is a dedicated focus on a hazard or set of hazards that our employees, contractors and our customers face every day. It involves stopping all activity during a set period of time to have a committed conversation or training that gets everyone thinking and talking about their safety and the hazards we should assess before starting a task.
Why join the Stand Up?
Too often we fit trainings in quickly or are handed a piece of paper to read and sign off on because we are busy. The Stand Up 4 Grain Safety Week is one week dedicated to increasing safety awareness by offering five days of complimentary training accessible from anywhere. Training is offered in both English and Spanish and designed to keep you and your team safe.
