RDA, Bogra's DG died of coronavirus

Aminul Islam, Director General of Rural Development Academy (RDA), Bogra, died at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital on Saturday (July 11, 2020) morning. He was infected with coronavirus. Aminul Islam, additional secretary of BCS administration (Batch-8), was diagnosed with coronavirus on June 23 and was undergoing treatment at his official residence at RDA, Bogra. As his condition deteriorated, he was shifted to the hospital on July 9 where he died around 9am on Saturday. He is survived by his wife and two sons. In his long career, Aminul Islam served as additional divisional commissioner of Rajshahi, director of Local Government Department of Rajshahi division, deputy secretary to Food Ministry and deputy commissioner of Sirajganj district. He joined as DG of RDA, Bogra on February 6, 2019. He also received the “Integrity Award” in June of the running year. Limra Trade Fairs and Exhibitions Pvt. Ltd., a non-governmental organization in Dhaka, has long been involved with RDA, Bogra in their business. They are deeply saddened by the death of RDA, Bogra's DG Md. Aminul Islam.
