In 1997,PRAN-RFL Group started its journey in the world of
exports by sending pineapples to France. In the outgoing fiscal year, this
industrial group, one of the leading industries in the country, exported
products worth 53 crore 20 lakh dollars, which is equivalent to Tk 5 thousand
24 crore in local currency. Within 3 years they want to reach the milestone of
$100 crore in product exports. And by 2030, their goal is to export 200 crore
dollars worth of products.

of this industrial group, said these things in a press conference organized by
PRAN-RFL group on the occasion of 25 years of exports. A press conference was
held last Sunday (July 24, 2022) at a hotel in Gulshan of the capital Dhaka.
The hotel's auditorium where the press conference was held,
was lined with various products of the PRAN-RFL Group on three sides of the
temporary booth. Among them were various food items, plastic products,
bicycles, bathroom fittings, stationery products, readymade garments,
refrigerators, air conditioners, furniture, cables, electric lamps, switches,
briefcases, plastic toys etc.
Regarding the export target, Mr Ahsan Khan Chowdhury said,
"If the supply of products can be ensured according to the demand, then it
is possible to achieve the export target." Food products are doing well,
readymade garments are doing well but we are very small there. We do not want
to grow in this sector. Our focus is on non-traditional products. We are also
getting good response for RFL products. Recently we started exporting fans and
tires. Currently we are exporting 1000 bicycles per day. Within a year we want
to increase the production capacity of bicycles to 4000 per day. The bike will
also be sold at the world-renowned retailer brand Walmart.
