Nepal’s PM inaugurated the 456 MW Upper Tamakoshi project, which is a national pride of Nepal

Upper Tamakoshi, Nepal - Nepal’s Prime Minister inaugurated the 456 MW Upper Tamakoshi project, a project of immense national pride of Nepal, beginning of July 2021. The first unit has started generating 76 MW and has been connected to Nepal’s national grid. A total of six units will be synchronised to the grid in due course. ANDRITZ takes immense pride in being the preferred supplier for the complete electro-mechanical works of this prestigious project. ANDRITZ has also been instrumental in completing the balance hydro-mechanical works of this project after the project saw some setbacks while executing the penstock works. ANDRITZ remains committed to Nepal and its people and in achieving for Nepal a power surplus status once the complete commissioning of this project is achieved.
