The country's first agricultural technology park is going to start at the Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute with the help of the Japanese agricultural technology company Yanmar. Farmers, students, agronomists, agricultural researchers of the country will get to see Yanmar's modern agricultural machinery in this park. ACI Limited, one of the country's industrial groups, works with this Japanese institution. Japanese Yanmar will provide large-scale technical support to the Manikganj factory of the domestic company.
ACI informed this information at the inauguration ceremony of the Agricultural Technology Park at the Intercontinental Hotel in the capital last Tuesday (November 2, 2022). In the next five years, the company, together with Yanmar, plans to produce at least seven times more than the current production.

Minister of Agriculture Dr. Md. Abdur Razzak MP said, after independence, Japan
quickly recognized Bangladesh and positioned itself as a friendly country. That
relationship remains today as one of the development partners.
