Grain Elevator and Processing Society is excited to announce their updated website www.geaps.com has launched. The new site, live after months of work, is jam-packed with improvements. Today’s GEAPS.com has a fresh overall design, features new content on almost all its pages, and is optimized for the mobile experience. This is no small update!
The new site, formed with input from GEAPS
members, is designed to be much easier to navigate. Check out the “I Am a Grain
Industry…” section for specialized user content. You’ll also notice the Online
Buyers’ Guide has a facelift and is built with future advertiser enhancements
in mind. Members have exclusive access to the video library, which houses
recordings of past educational sessions and webinars. It’s easy to search for
just what you need with additional event filters.
Grain industry businesses will appreciate the
fresh look and brand-new advertising opportunities. People working in the
industry will appreciate revamped chapter pages, easier access to online
learning courses, and a clear path to get involved with committees and events.
“The website needs to be the ‘front door’ to GEAPS, itself a tool to attract members and add value,” said GEAPS Executive Director Steve Records. “We also want to use our website to be able to deliver new services to our members. Our site hadn’t been updated since 2016; it simply wasn’t adaptable for how association websites need to work.”
GEAPS Senior Project Manager Betsy Polis has been leading the site improvement effort since the beginning.
“We want the website to not only be a resource for our members, but a source of interest for those in the grain industry,” she said. “We hope the new website serves as that. While we are proud of what we released this week, the new GEAPS.com will continue to grow and adapt to our member's evolving needs.”
GEAPS is
excited to release this new website and more is in store. Look for more changes
in the future, such as an integration of GEAPS Exchange content on the same
site.
