GFMM desk: Farmers have been warned that due to the coronavirus crisis, the equipment they are using may have a major component deficiency.
Many spare parts for agricultural machinery are produced from China and India. Both countries have been infected with the coronavirus-causing disease 'Covid-19' epidemic.
Andrew Beckingham, of farming co-operative Labour Machinery Resources, based in Gainsborough, said they were monitoring the situation.
He said: "There might be an issue with wearing parts, some stock could well be short, there is a red flag on that one."
