In order to make the magnetic impurities should not be too far away from the surface, the flow layer of the material on the magnetic surface should not be too thick, and the thickness of the material layer should not exceed 16 mm when the permanent magnet drum is used. The speed of the material flowing through the magnetic surface: the faster the material moves, the greater the magnetic force required. Therefore, under the condition of a certain magnet suction, if the material flowing through the magnetic surface is too fast, the separation efficiency of magnetic impurities will be reduced.

Because the flow velocity of the material on the material surface is related to the inclination Angle, the inclination angle of the slip pipe is commonly used in production to control the flow velocity of the material. Magnetic surface cleaning: on the magnetic surface of the magnetic steel, if the magnetic impurities accumulated and are not cleaned in time, it is easy to be washed away by the material flow, and mixed back into the material, affecting the sorting effect. Therefore, the magnetic surface should be cleaned regularly, at least twice each time.

Magnetic impurities cleaned should be properly handled to avoid mixing into the material flow again.
