Factors affecting the effect of magnetic separation equipment: magnetic properties and materials: currently commonly used permanent magnet materials are permanent magnet and permanent magnet ferrite. Permanent magnet alloy is less affected by temperature, and has a solid structure, but does not do a multi-pole magnetic system, and the price is more expensive. Permanent magnet ferrite is less affected by vibration, suitable for large plane multi-pole magnetic systems, and the price is cheap but brittle and fragile, should not have direct contact with magnetic impurities.
Commonly used permanent magnet alloy (nickel cobalt magnetic steel, aluminum nickel cobalt magnetic steel, etc.), permanent magnet ferrite and strontium calcium ferrite and other permanent magnet materials. Distance between material and magnetic pole surface: IN an open magnetic field, the greater the magnetic field strength and magnetic field gradient, the greater the magnetic force of magnetic impurities. The strongest part of the magnetic field is near the magnetic separation surface, so the closer the distance between magnetic impurities and the magnetic pole surface, the easier it is to be attracted.
In order to make the magnetic impurities should not be too far away from the surface, the flow layer of the material on the magnetic surface should not be too thick, and the thickness of the material layer should not exceed 16 mm when the permanent magnet drum is used. The speed of the material flowing through the magnetic surface: the faster the material moves, the greater the magnetic force required. Therefore, under the condition of a certain magnet suction, if the material flowing through the magnetic surface is too fast, the separation efficiency of magnetic impurities will be reduced.
Because the flow velocity of the material on the material surface is related to the inclination Angle, the inclination angle of the slip pipe is commonly used in production to control the flow velocity of the material. Magnetic surface cleaning: on the magnetic surface of the magnetic steel, if the magnetic impurities accumulated and are not cleaned in time, it is easy to be washed away by the material flow, and mixed back into the material, affecting the sorting effect. Therefore, the magnetic surface should be cleaned regularly, at least twice each time.
Magnetic impurities cleaned should be properly handled to avoid mixing into the material flow again.
