Mir Mohammad Liaquat Ali, caretaker of Darshana International Railway Station, said there was no chance for ordinary people to come with the freight train during the corona. Each freight train in Bangladesh has three crew members (driver, driver's assistant and a guard). The driver and his assistant stayed in the engine of the train. The guard or director has to go down for some formalities to explain the shipment of the product. To complete this formality, the three people who come with the Indian train need to stay for 45 minutes to a maximum of one hour. In this case, according to the government guidelines, hygiene rules are followed completely.
Damurhuda Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer (UHFPO) Abu Hena Mohammad Jamal said drivers and directors accompanying freight trains were stopped at the zero line at the border and screened. At that time, after the screening of the train's driver Biswajit Biswas, assistant driver Shivbrat Chowdhury and director Pradeep Shankar, they were given the opportunity to enter Bangladesh only after knowing their personal matters and being risk-free. Apart from that, after reaching the port of Darshan, the places where the Indian train director goes and stays are immediately disinfected.
