Three Baltic State’s record breaking year

Three Baltic State’s record breaking year GFMM desk: The number of projects almost doubled from the previous year in all 3 Baltic States, which are Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. After a wet and complicated harvesting season in 2017, farmers, cooperatives and grain trading companies in the Baltic States decided to invest in grain drying and storage facilities to be ready for the coming season. Interest in grain handling equipment was huge in all 3 Baltic States: Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. Dotnuva Baltic (which is Cimbrias dealer in the Baltic) had an extremely busy year in 2018. The number of projects almost doubled from the previous year. One of successes was in Estonia, where Dotnuva Baltic secured a nice order for the biggest Cimbria dryer in the Baltic (80 TPH) as part of a large a turnkey silo plant. The project was successfully implemented in 2018. Dotnuva Baltic was responsible for the entire project, all the way from design/engineering, foundation construction, equipment supply, installation and automation works. In Latvia, a 2 silo plants, with a total capacity of 34,000 t, was also completed in 2018. As in the previous years, Lithuania had the most installations built. In 2018, the total capacity of grain silos built by Dotnuva Baltic AUB exceeded 135,000 t. Most of the silos installed are for cooperatives and grain trading companies, as farmers invested primarily in drying plants. Source: CIMBRIA SZK
