MINNEAPOLIS, November 7, 2024 – Grain Elevator and Processing Society (GEAPS) is excited to announceregistration is open for GEAPS Exchange! The biggest and best show in the grain industry is returning to the Kansas City Convention Center in Kansas City, Missouri, February 22-25, 2025. With grain professionals at every level, GEAPS Exchange serves as a cornerstone for the grain handling and processing community to connect, share insights, and shape the future of agriculture. With more than 45 hours of education sessions spanning every facet of grain handling and storage, attendees will have unparalleled opportunities to learn, network, and collaborate with peers from around the world. New this year, GEAPS Exchange also features a processing track of educational topics.
“GEAPS Exchange 2025 brings the first-ever grain processing track that will focus on educational and technical opportunities throughout the grain processing industry, with special emphasis on ethanol production and soybean crushing,” says John Caupert, GEAPS Executive Director. “With the transformational shifts going on throughout the agriculture industry, GEAPS Exchange is the must-attend conference of the year. GEAPS Exchange has something for everyone.”
The education program kicks off with Pamela Barnum as the keynote presenter to share her message on tactical influence. With more than 20 years in the criminal justice system as an undercover police officer and federal prosecutor, her field-tested strategies will challenge leaders to close the gap between intentions and impact. The Idea Exchange Program follows, featuring new products and ideas from industry peers. Join us for a morning of learning and networking.
Learning continues in the Expo Hall with more than 400 exhibitors anticipated. GEAPS Exchange is the best way to see what is new in the industry and to find new equipment or services for your facility. So much more than a tabletop show, many exhibitors bring hands-on displays, machinery, and equipment for attendees to see, touch and feel. Sessions inside the Expo Hall include a grain entrapment rescue demo and interactive, small-group presentations on the four education tracks - processing, safety, employee development, and grain operations. GEAPS members get free admission to the Expo Hall and lunch is provided for all attendees and exhibitors. Austin Carpenter, Clear Creek & Associates, serves as GEAPS International President and has attended
GEAPS Exchange for many years. “GEAPS Exchange is the single best way to network and connect with industry partners,” Carpenter said.
“Each year I see new exhibitors with technology from parallel industries offering solutions to our problems.”
And it doesn’t stop there. Networking events serve to build and foster professional connections at the opening Mixer for first-time and international attendees, the Get Acquainted Party at the College Basketball Experience, the Welcome Reception held right in the Expo Hall and the closing Music Bingo event made popular at its inaugural appearance in the 2024 schedule.
