"After all, the same logic works here as in local sales, and both members of the association already have a successful experience in the export direction, which the renewed company plans to actively develop." KMZ Industries Exports: History and Today "The first export deliveries of the Karlovy Vary Machine-Building Plant date back to 1981," says Sergei Blinov. Sergei Blinov. - For this year in the export line of the plant there are 11 grain dryers, 16 silos for flour XE-160, 2 norias, etc. elevator equipment. In the 2000s, our company mainly cooperated in exports with Poland and Lithuania. " Export deliveries to the plant, by the way, were not only in Europe. One of the landmark orders in Asian countries is the production of equipment for the port elevator of Behdis Tejarat Alborz in Tehran (IR Iran) for 53,000 tons of single storage in 2007. For this customer KMZ Industries has manufactured and delivered 14 silos developed by our design bureau. The diameter of each silo is 16.5 m, the capacity is 3,875 tons, all of them are equipped with cleaning augers. Construction continued in 2008-2009, and the elevator began operation in 2011. We inspected our products a year after the launch of the terminal: in local climatic conditions, the elevator equipment works without any complaints. "In 2019, another important achievement for us in the export direction took place," said Sergei Blinov. - We became the first among the Ukrainian manufacturers of elevator equipment who carried out complex delivery of elevator equipment to the European Union. Deliveries for two stages of elevator construction in Romania included silos, a separator and transport equipment. " In general, among the foreign countries to which KMZ Industries equipment has recently been supplied: Germany, Romania, Moldova, Bulgaria, Belarus and Kazakhstan, the Baltic States (in particular, Latvia and Estonia) and South Africa. KMZ Industries has recently delivered equipment to Romania for four different facilities, including a new fish feed plant and a large poultry factory. Geography of Variant Agro Build equipment supply: European subsidy contributes to its popularity Variant Agro Build has been actively developing its export direction only in the last few years, but during this time it has also achieved significant success in the international arena. The first export delivery of equipment from the line took place in December 2019 for a customer from Estonia. "The possibility of subsidizing our European customers by 50% from European funds also contributed to the greater stability and popularity of the Variant Agro Build brand in the foreign market," says Irakli Imnadze, head of the foreign economic activity department of Variant Agro Bud. - For more flexible implementation of projects, we also signed financing agreements with two large financial institutions. Two new projects in Romania, which we are currently in the process of implementing, are already in the process of obtaining such funding. " The export portfolio of elevator equipment from the Variant Agro Build line includes Estonia, Romania, Latvia, Bulgaria and Moldova, as well as Serbia, Slovenia and Croatia. "Last year alone, the company sold six full-fledged elevator complexes outside the country with a total storage weight of 110,000 tons," said Irakli Imnadze. - Two of these facilities will be commissioned in September this year. In addition, we have implemented three projects to supply transport equipment for existing elevator complexes in Europe.

For this customer KMZ Industries delivered 12 hoppers with a total capacity of 17,378 cubic meters. for storage of husk and sunflower and for difficult to store product - granulated and non-granulated sunflower meal.
“Cake storage containers have been specially designed for this product. They have a unique design with special insulation and cladding (the so-called thermo type of silos), which will fully preserve the quality of products, - says Sergei Blinov. "In addition, these specially designed insulated silos meet the increased requirements for work in the seismically active zone and, moreover, in conditions of significant industrial loads."
Construction of KMZ Industries equipment is carried out by our own assembly service. Now the installation of the first stage of "insulated" silos has been completed at the facility, and our specialists have already started the construction of the second stage tanks.
There are also two silos from the Variant Agro Build line. SVP 32 silos, manufactured for MPZ in Moldova, have a total storage capacity of 40 thousand tons. The company's employees also performed supervision services for this facility: under their supervision, both silos were installed in the spring of this year.
"Among the features of the project - also increased requirements of the manufacturer to the snow load of the silos and the reliability of the structure in a seismically active zone," says Irakli Imnadze. - By the way, at the moment these silos are the largest in Moldova. In the near future, the customer plans to conduct a test loading of both tanks.
