North America, Asia, and South America all have large corn planting areas, and the United States, China, Brazil, and Argentina are the four countries with the highest corn production in the world, together accounting for 68.93% of global corn production in 2022.
The U.S. is the world's largest corn producer, with a production of 349 million tonnes in 2022, a year-on-year decline of 8.92%, accounting for 30.39% of total global production. China is the world's second-largest corn producer, with 277 million tonnes, or 24.16 percent, of corn production in 2022.
