The World Bank has described it as the biggest economic recession since World War II, which has had a small impact on all economies, large and small. This has led to a change in the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the countries. The top ten economies in particular have seen some ups and downs. For example, four decades later, the United States has lost its seat in the world's top economy. China has risen from second to number one position. The way the other eight countries in the top ten, along with China and the United States, passed through 2020, will continue in 2021. In 2020, China's GDP stands at 29.47 trillion. The size of the United States GDP stands at 22.32 trillion dollars. The new year means that in 2021, the size of the United States GDP will be 23.18 trillion dollars. This year, China's GDP has been estimated at 31.85 trillion. Note that one lakh crore is equal to one trillion. Based on 40 years of historical data analysis from the International Monetary Fund from 1980 to 2020, the world's top ten GDPs are forecast for 2021 by an international organization called Howmuch.net. The United States topped the list in 1980. At that time, the size of the country's GDP was 2.86 trillion dollars. China was not in the top ten then. In the next decade, in 1990, China rose to the top ten. Over the past few decades, many developing countries in Asia have made significant progress in GDP growth. Apart from China, India and Indonesia are in the top ten. Source: Online/SZK
