Having completed 6 reference projects in the region so far, Alapala has agreed to build a turnkey greenfield feed mill project in Khartoum, Sudan.
This feed mill of 10 TPH capacity will comprise a sorghum intake and storage unit, sorghum flake unit, cake grinding unit, silage handling unit, mixing unit, and storage unit.It will import its raw material and produce white sorghum flakes, groundnut cake, ground straw, and molasses for domestic use.The mill’s steel silos with a total capacity of 12,408 tons will be provided by Symaga in Spain.
As Alapala’ssecond feed mill project in the region, the mill is scheduled to be operational by February 2022.In addition to a state-of-the-art automation system, the mill will also be equipped with a remote connection feature. Thanks to this feature, Alapala after-sales team can access the mill for technical assistance such as inspection, error diagnosis, calibration, and troubleshooting.
As a global provider of turnkey greenfield and modernization projects, Alapala will build this greenfield feedlot feed mill based on its unique expertise and experience of many years.
