Poultry chicken prices are falling

Which was 180-200 rupees on the day before Eid. Although the prices of poultry chickens have come down, the prices of layer and golden chickens have remained unchanged. Red layer chicken is being sold at 210-220 rupees per kg as before. And the golden chicken is being sold for 230-240 rupees. Traders say demand for poultry has dropped significantly since Eid. That is why it is being sold at a lower price to avoid losses. Because poultry chickens cannot be kept for long. Due to Eid, on the one hand, the demand for poultry has increased, on the other hand, the supply has decreased. Because of the corona, many farm owners did not go into new production, resulting in a decline in poultry poultry. Even many firms have closed. Due to this, the price of poultry has increased before Eid. Ramzan Ali, a poultry trader in Dhaka's Kachukhet area, said he sold poultry for Tk 190 per kg on the day before Eid but today it costs Tk 160 per kg. Poultry will not sell much in the next few days. So it is being sold at the purchase price. Source: Online/SZK
