We bring the latest machine to the pestle, Appointment of district-based dealership. We import Reaper Binder, these are Tara 90, Tara 50 Bind Low Stem Crops. Such as wheat, rice, barley etc, Auto Binding. We import Rice Transplant (Seraji), it is suitable for all countries the traditional method of rice seedlings. We import Dairy Farm Machine, Feed Maker Machines, like Poultry / Pellet Feed. It is manufacturing machine finds a large application in poultry farming business. We import also Industrial Pellet Feed, it is manufacturer of industrial pellet feed, poultry feed pellet, vertical pellet, semi auto cattle feed pellet. GFMM: What is the reason for importing such machines in dairy poultry fish feed? Mr. Humayun: Dairy poultry fish feed has been imported from abroad and it has been found to contain harmful ingredients. There is a prohibited element of hurtling religious sentiment. GFMM: Do you think the use of instruments in agriculture is creating unemployment problems in populous Bangladesh? Mr. Humayun: No, never, because, the machine works many workers in a short time, it is gaining time and money. On the other hand those workers are engaged in other work. They are not unemployed. GFMM: Why aren't you importing Combine Harvesters to harvest? Mr. Humayun: Roads like the movement of Combine Harvesters are not in our village area. The size of our land is so small that it is not possible to use Combine Harvester in all such small size land. Agriculture in Bangladesh requires sustainable machinery and technology, super modern is nothing. GFMM: Tell us a little about the standard of your imported machine and product. Mr. Humayun: Provide products to the farming community, as a condition of its United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development grant, the cooperating universities comprising "Amjad Agro" were tasked to prepare four reports a year and submit them to USDA. We give importance to the agriculture of the country, we give importance to the farmer of the country. The tools that our agriculture, our farmers need most we import that.
GFMM: Is it possible to make all these machines in our country? Mr. Humayun: Not possible fast. However, some machines are being manufactured in the country. These machines need to be publicly subsidized and spread. Hopefully we can make it all in the near future, hopefully. GFMM: Will you say about the farmers of Bangladesh? Mr. Humayun: We are working with strong commitments. We are honest and fair with suppliers. Our first priority is customer’s satisfaction.
