Mill and Sector Machinery Manufacturers Association (DESMÜD) held its Ordinary General Assembly Meeting at Konya Grand Millennium Hotel with intensive participation. The meeting started with opening speeches, a minute of silence, and roll call, and continued with the presentation of activity reports, evaluation of income and expense tables, and elections. As a result of the voting in the general assembly, the current president, Zeki Demirtaşoglu, was re-elected to the presidency by regaining the trust of the members. The new management will continue building strong cooperation with global market shareholders. In his thank you speech, President Zeki Demirtaşoglu said, “As the DESMÜD family, we will continue to work with a strong vision for our sector as we have done so far. Our association, which is especially known for its efforts to support the industry, accelerate technological transformation, and spread the understanding of sustainable production, will continue to be the voice of the Turkish milling sector in the international market in the new management period.” As one of the strongest non-governmental organisations in the field of milling and sector machinery in Türkiye, DESMÜD stands out with its activities supporting sectoral development. The association gathers the manufacturers of the sector under the same roof, encourages information sharing, contributes to the shaping of the legislation regarding the sector, and carries out various promotional, training, and fair organisations for its members to be more effective in domestic and foreign markets.
