Picture: Collected[/caption] SZ. Kabir: Bangladesh and Vietnam have identified 11 sectors to increase trade and investment. The decision was taken by the Joint Trade Committee (JTC) meeting between the two countries in the Vietnamese capital Hanoi. The information was sent to a Bangladesh embassy in Hanoi on Friday (December 27, 2019). It was mentioned that a meeting of the Joint Trade Committee was held between Bangladesh and Vietnam in Hanoi. It identified 11 sectors to increase trade and investment between the two countries. These sectors include investment in agriculture, pharmaceuticals, special economic zones of Bangladesh, cooperation in the IT sector, bilateral cooperation in the garment industry, increasing trade in halal products, investment in software sector, direct launch of planes, increasing the distribution of jute, cooperation in the banking sector and cooperation in the tourism sector. Zafar Uddin, secretary of the Ministry of Commerce, led the Bangladesh delegation at the JTC meeting of the two countries and the Vietnam delegation was led by Kao Kuok Han, the country's Deputy for Industry and Investment. The meeting was attended by Bangladesh Ambassador to Vietnam Samina Naz and Director General of Foreign Affairs (South-east Asia) MJH Zabed. Source: Online/SZK
