Mr. Rick Herbad said, "I started cultivating coffee in Bandarban's Rooma in the 2011 with 5 hundred coffee seedlings by farmers. At present, the total number of trees including Sajek is one lac 50 thousand. For the past two years I have been marketing and exporting coffee in Bangladesh. North and FAO (United Nation’s Food and Agriculture Organization) think Bangladesh's coffee is world-class.

' The agriculture minister said, “We are producing coffee and working to increase its production. For this reason, I will send some farmers to Vietnam so that they can have hands-on experience. We want to export agricultural products, earn foreign currency and create employment. ” Managing director of North and Private Limited said, "Reducing duty fee on coffee export will be good for the business."
