Aftab Bahumukhi Farms Limited welcomes the opening of the broiler demonstration farm by Poultry Tech Bangladesh. Aftab Bahumukhi Farms' open broiler farmhouse in Kishoreganj was converted to a semi-closed farmhouse as part of the Poultry Tech Bangladesh effort by using Dutch ideas that were appropriate for the region.
By conducting training programs for the Aftab personnel and other broiler farmers in the area with regard to brooding, biosecurity, water quality, and farm management, among other things, the demonstration farmhouse strives to display best practices in terms of broiler farming.
With this improvement, the standards of biosecurity and animal welfare are to be raised, farm operating risks are to be decreased, and animal and financial performance are to be improved. For broiler farmers from central Bangladesh, the improved broiler house on the Aftab premises serves as a demonstration site.
Recently, a delegation of the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), headed by André van Ommeren, Director of International Cooperation, visited the PoultryTechBangladesh demonstration broiler farm at Aftab in Kishoreganj, Bangladesh while the photo was taken.
