But in all cases, there are some general methods for crop preservation, which are almost the same in all cases.

Common storage methods: 

Conventional storage 

The grain is cleaned and dried and then loaded into storage equipment after the temperature drops to the air temperature. Then seal the entrance and exit of grain, do a good job of insect prevention, moisture-proof, rodent prevention and daily food inspection, and other work. 

Thermal-sealed storage 

The method is to use the summer high-temperature exposure wheat, and make the grain temperature rise after the hot storage, to achieve pest control effect. Sun to master the late early harvest, thin booth frequently turn the principle, in the morning after the sun, dry the wheat thin booth on the sun, so that the wheat temperature reached more than 42℃, the best is 50 ~ 52℃. At about 4 o 'clock in the afternoon, the grain is collected, piled into a pile, hot for half an hour to a heavy hour, before 5 o 'clock in the afternoon while hot storage. Cover the grain surface with a hot mat, and straw curtain, and then cover plastic film airtight. Heat sealing is best for a full warehouse, so as not to lose wheat temperature, affecting the effect of insecticide. Requirements for hot sealed storage: warehouse clearance and disinfection should be done in advance, and no insects should be found in the equipment; The water content of wheat should not be higher than 12%, preferably below 11%. 

Natural hypoxia storage

Natural anoxic storage does not use pesticides but uses the respiration of food, pests, and microorganisms in a closed environment to consume oxygen in the environment so that the pests are in a hypoxic state and suffocate to death. The newly harvested grain breathes vigorously, and the old grain breathes feebly. Therefore, the natural anoxic storage method is only suitable for newly harvested grain, and old grain cannot be stored by the natural anoxic storage method. The method is to the newly harvested grain as soon as possible to dry, Yang net, within a week after the harvest to complete the warehousing closed work. The food inlet and outlet must be airtight. During the period of natural anoxic storage, it is necessary to check the closed condition of the entrance and exit of the grain and the intact condition of the whole granary. If it is found that the sealing is not strict or the storage body is damaged, it cannot continue to be stored by the natural anoxic method. Natural anoxic storage must use grain storage devices with high air tightness, otherwise, the desired effect will not be achieved.
