GFMM desk: On Saturday (February 15, 2020), the Chinese government allowed local government authorities to resume work as soon as possible. Companies that are involved with feed production and poultry slaughtering get this permission. The government wants them to overcome the obstacles caused by the outbreak of coronary virus.
Local authorities should ensure smooth movement of traffic between the city and the countryside. To assist these companies, tax deductions, low interest rates and other financial assistance should be provided. China's planners, as well as the ministries of agriculture and transportation, said in a joint statement said all this.
Some provincial governments have imposed sanctions in an attempt to curb the spread of the virus, which has disrupted food supply and transportation of live animals to the slaughterhouses.
Ministers have said that the industry's basic manufacturing capabilities will not be undermined, and this support was needed to guarantee the efficient delivery of meat, eggs, milk and other products to consumers.
China is the 2nd largest economy in the world. Because of this, the negative effects of coronavirus have been directly and indirectly impacting the world.
