SIMILAGO II is one of Alapala's most ambitious machines. In this roller mill, every single detail was significantly considered to perform superior efficiency. In the beginning, a robust chassis is made up of thick special carbon steel especially highly resistant to machine vibration ensuring smooth and consistent machine operation that provides more durability. The aerodynamic profile of the rolling mechanism allows perfect air circulation between grinding rolls to avoid overheating of the mechanism, thus efficient operation and minimized downtime. SIMILAGO II’s specially designed transmission drive mechanism including a specially profiled belt, which stands the test of time, ensures clean and silent operation without the need for lubrication. The EZ Roll Pack Change System ensures the change operation can be performed in just 20 minutes, which is a significant reduction in scheduled downtime. The operation can be carried out with the standard toolset and no lifting devices are required.

This roller mill gives an opportunity for easy control with a 7” LCD touch-panel screen used to set the operational parameters, as well as monitor the feed roll speed, hopper product level, electric motor amperage load, and instantaneous power consumption. Slide Gate Mechanism A Pneumatically actuated slide gate mechanism adjusts the feed amount to the feeding gap, thus ensuring uniform flow to the feed rolls. The polycarbonate inspection glass enables the operator to inspect the status of the machine when feeding. It can also be easily removed from the outside without the need to dismantle the feed spouts and related parts, for cleaning.
