About Evaporation and Crystallization

Evaporative crystallization is suitable for substances whose solubility varies little with temperature. It is a process of making a solution from an unsaturated state to a supersaturated state so that the solute is precipitated out in crystal form through heating and evaporation. According to different forms of energy applied, evaporation systems can be classified as MVR, multi-effect evaporators, TVR, and secondary heat systems. Forced circulation evaporator is the main form of evaporator for this application, while crystallizers may be classified as Forced Circulation, OSLO and DTB.
